High winds are currently moving through Lee County from the West. Stay alert and watch for debris, damage as the severe thunderstorms pass through the area.

There are currently still roads throughout the county that are flooded. Please exercise extreme caution while traveling. If you can't see the road through the water, do not drive through it. Washouts are increased during flash floods. If you choose to drive through flooded areas you're creating a dangerous situation for yourself, your passengers and the emergency responders that will be called to assist you.

Turn around, don't drown!!!

You can report flooded roads/streets on I-Drive.

If you or a family member is stuck behind flood waters and need immediate assistance, call 911. Our Fire Department is trained and capable of responding.

Several portions of HWY 238 and Hwy 259 flooded. Please be very cautious while driving on any roads during this weather event. Flooding will likely get worse as the rain continues over the next hours. If you can't see the road, you can't see where it might be washed out or damaged.

Avoid the railroad trussel area at HWY 79 & HWY 1 IN Marianna.

Turn around, don't drown.
