At this time the Michigan Department of Natural Resources is conducting a prescribed burn in the area of E County Line Rd near Townline Rd. The smoke from this burn is traveling north and west towards the Village of Kingsley.

Colfax-Greenwood Residents, your faithful firefighters conducted pump operations training last night utilizing Engine 5, Supply 5, and a portable pump, including operation of our deck gun at Dayhuff Lake.
We subsequently returned to the station and performed rig and station checks on our apparatus and equipment. We appreciate each of you for your constant support and prayers. Chief Nelson.

On a sidenote, if any of you are interested in joining our dedicated team and having some fun, give us a call.
No experience is needed to join, and training is paid for.

Tonight the City Of Manton Fire Department along with Colfax-Greenwood Fire Dept cranked up the sirens for the Manton High School boys track team Conference Champs coming back home!!!! Awesome job guys good luck Saturday!!!

Good evening, Manton Area Residents. Earlier this evening, your three local fire departments collaborated for a joint training exercise. A walk-through inspection was conducted at the Manton Christian Camp on E 16th Rd to establish a pre-incident plan. This facility is noteworthy and warrants consideration for those seeking recreational or faith-based opportunities.
The training session subsequently relocated to the Cedar Creek Fire Department, where personnel received instruction on pump operations utilizing Engine 5. Thank you, community, for your unwavering support. -Chief Nelson
