Measure Q is doing exactly what our community voted for and this latest update shows just how impactful that decision continues to be.

According to the Manteca Bulletin article “Measure Q Delivers: The Third Time’s a Charm,” we’re seeing real progress with the largest hiring of frontline public safety personnel in years, including nine new firefighters stepping up to serve our community.

This is what happens when a community comes together with a shared vision. Measure Q is helping us strengthen public safety, invest in infrastructure, and finally move forward on long-needed priorities that had been delayed for years.

From improving emergency response to building the foundation for future projects, this is about delivering on promises and making sure Manteca keeps up with the needs of our growing city. Measure Q is projected to generate millions annually to support these critical improvements.

To our residents: thank you. Your support is making a real difference.

The Manteca City Council and the Measure Q Committee will hold a public joint meeting on Tuesday, February 25th, at 10 AM at the Transit Center.
The agenda includes discussing goals, priorities, and the funding plan for future Measure Q funds.

Key allocations under consideration:

●$6 million toward a bond for a public safety facilities

●$2 million for road maintenance

●A new swimming pool

●A community park

●Expansion of animal shelter and services

●Additional priorities to be discussed

Residents are encouraged to attend and provide input.

$240 million — give or take a few million — doesn’t buy what it used to. It’s the point City Manager Toni Lundgren intends to drive home during Tuesday’s special joint meeting of the Manteca City Council and Measure Q tax oversight committee.

Thank you Manteca ✅

The passage of Measure Q is already delivering benefits, as the city council on Tuesday approved the purchase of a $1.1 million replacement for a 22-year-old fire engine stationed at Lathrop Road.

The funding for this purchase came from reserves and other accounts, which would not be replenished without Measure Q.

🌟 Thank You, Manteca! 🌟

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported Measure Q – from our dedicated volunteers and donors to the countless residents who believe in building a stronger, safer Manteca. This campaign was a true community effort, and we couldn't have come this far without you!

Here’s a look at what was accomplished to convey the importance of Measure Q:

• Held over 50 informational presentations with various community organizations and individual residents discussing the need and impact of Measure Q.
• Engaged with local elected officials to underscore Measure Q’s importance for Manteca’s future.
• The City hosted 5 Facebook Live informational presentations and answered questions.
• Committee members and volunteers canvassed neighborhoods for two months, talking with residents and distributing yard signs.
• With the support of private property owners, volunteers installed campaign signs in various locations throughout town.
• Managed our social media pages to respond to inquiries, dispel misinformation, and keep you updated.
• Created and distributed mailers, social media graphics, videos, and other content to communicate clearly with our community.
• Held planning meetings (some lasting well into the evening!) to keep this campaign moving forward.

This wasn’t an easy lift, but every effort was worth it. We connected with so many residents who share our vision for a better Manteca, and we truly hope that becomes a reality. Whether the measure passes or not, we’re immensely proud of this journey and remain hopeful for Manteca’s future. If the measure doesn’t pass, know that the work isn’t over. 💪

Thank you to our committee volunteers, community organizations, donors, and most importantly, our Manteca residents who believe in Measure Q and voted YES! Your support makes all the difference. 💚
