Last nite at council onw of rhe main topics was park ave and the racing and the hanging out that takes place out there. So ro the people what are your thoughts and what do think should or could be done to help the problem.

So there was a meet about our parks but yet they say it wasn't to tell the public what the planed on doing just to hear from them hmmmm sounds funny to me

I would first like to thank you for your time in stopping by this page. The reason for this page is to announce my candidacy for the seat of council men at large. This is a late entry to the race and I do take this endeavor with the upmost seriousness. And anyone that knows me and for those who will get to know me know i take matters like this very serious. After seeing how this race was uncontested and no one seems to even bother to tell us what they have done or what they hope to do or plan to do for our city. Are we to just show up and vote for you just because someone is the only name on the ballot and we have seen no effort to talk to the community. No debates no town hall meetings no neighborhood watch meetings at least not in my neighborhood. The point of this is I'm a regular guy from the Southside born and raised in this town, I work a regular job in this town,I have children and grandchildren in this town. I will never claim to be a perfect person as non of us are but I am a person that cares about the next person and a person who cares about where he lives. I am a regular guy who has had enough of watching the old guard at all levels do as they want. Its time for the regular people to take some control back or at least throw a monkey wrench into the status qoue. I know it will be said i have no experience or this or that but the fact is any of us can do this we all are capable of learning what we need too, to do our jobs and this will be no different. So I hope over the next two months we as a community can have a dialog about what our city needs and what we can do and in that i hope I can earn your vote .
