Hatzalah is able to do many things because it is community-based.

Many years ago, the first true community-based paramedic service was established in Pittsburgh. Some of the training materials developed there became the foundational textbooks of paramedicine.

There is a strike by nurses but Hatzalah is still here!

However, due to the strike, we may not be able to take you to your regular hospital.
We do our best to accommodate your wishes but we have to balance that with the ability of the hospital to safely treat you.

Tonight an ambulance broke down while transporting a lightning strike victim to Jersey Shore. With no ambulances nearby Hatzolah stepped up and transported the patient. A lot of comments always talk negativity towards Hatzolah as they are Jewish, and yes mainly treat Jewish residents. However, they are always available for everyone no matter what religion, skin color, anything. Tonight, you deserve recognition. Thank you for all you do. God bless. 🇺🇸
