Come by station 1 tomorrow to learn hands-only CPR from your Manhattan Beach Firefighters. Designed to teach community members how to initiate CPR for someone who experiences sudden cardiac arrest, increasing the chance of survival!

We had a blast hosting dinner for this wonderful family. They won a dinner at the fire house from a raffle at the 2nd Annual Polar Plunge. All proceeds from event went toward the following the Palisades and Eaton fires. Thank you for the support!

Division Chief Dulmage visited in Appleton, Wisconson to do a final inspection of our new fire engine coming soon to Manhattan Beach! We’re excited to have this new apparatus to serve our community! Looking good 🤩 🚒

*Update*
Engine 21 was deployed with 4 personnel on Monday afternoon and worked for 36 hours plus doing structure defense and protection. They are still currently assigned to the fire.
We just got back our reserve fire engine this afternoon from the shop after getting repairs. We are currently working on getting that engine prepared to be deployed to send as much help as we can to the devastating fires. We have multiple members coming in to work from their day off to help.
E23 will be deployed with 4 firefighters as soon as we have the personnel and the engine is ready.
We are doing our best to do what we can while also ensuring the Manhattan Beach remains staffed and units are available for emergencies within our city.
Our thoughts go out to everyone affected and to all emergency personnel working on the fire line.

Yesterday our 8 new firefighter/paramedics received their probationary badges and helmet shields. They all successfully completed the 6 week training academy and will now begin their probationary year on the floor.
