A candlelight vigil will be held tonight in downtown Manassas to honor conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed last week during a speaking event in Utah.

I am deeply saddened by the politically motivated murder of Charlie Kirk, a champion among conservatives, whose pursuit of life and liberty was cut short by a deranged individual. Two young children have lost their father and a wife has lost her husband. Our great country is losing its way.

His voice will not be silenced because he is gone—I can hear it even louder than ever. May his family find strength and comfort in the days ahead, and may we honor his legacy by carrying forward the conversations he started.
