We want to thank our community members who supported our food bag project last fall and give a special shout-out to the Fiesta Mart and Giant for the contributions that made it possible for us to provide to over 90 City of Manassas families.

Tomorrow (4/9/26) is the first of two big days for the 2026 Farmers Market season openers! We have the official ribbon cuttings taking place at 9am at Thursday's market, and 9:30am at Saturday's market. We hope you can join us and all of our awesome vendors as we kick the season off!

Note: We'll be in the Water Tower lot for the first 2 Thursday markets, then we will return to the Harris Pavilion area from there on.

The Manassas Volunteer Fire Company is deeply saddened by the loss of former Assistant Chief Louis Derrell DeRamus Jr. Assistant Chief DeRamus ran with the MVFC until 1982 and is the father of Life Member and former President and Chief Tripp DeRamus.

Following are the arrangements for Derrill DeRamus Jr.

Tuesday, April 14th Pierce Funeral Home

Viewing-1-2pm followed by a service

Internment will be at Hixson Cememtery on Buckhall Road.
