📍 COMMUNITY UPDATE: Keeping Our Parks Beautiful 🌳
Recently, some new picnic tables at Village Park were drawn on by local youth. While we love seeing our parks filled with activity, we want to remind everyone that our community spaces belong to all of us, and we must treat them with respect.
Here is a note from Mayor Stickel regarding the situation:

"This is a message from the Mayor Bryan Stickel,
Whoever vandalized the picnic tables at the Village Park if we find out who you are you will be prosecuted for vandalism. We do not purchase things like this to be torn up we are proud of our village and we try to give things to the people that live in the village. I will remove all the picnic tables from both shelter houses and lock them up. If this continues. So you can stand in the shelter house instead of having a place to sit. I am very very disappointed in this act in our Village Park this will be turned over to the police department and they can handle it from here. It's very sad that people from our village and people that rent these can't go down to the park and use the shelter houses for birthday parties family reunions Etc. and seeing all the graffiti on these tables. What happened to people being respectful. Thank You Mayor, Bryan Stickel”

How you can help:
* Talk to your kids: Remind them that damaging public property affects the whole community and diverts village resources away from other fun projects.
* Keep an eye out: If you visit Village Park and see anyone damaging equipment, please report it.
Let’s work together to keep our village parks clean, safe, and beautiful for everyone! 🤝❤️
