The Town has completed and submitted all necessary steps and documentation required for the drawdown request.

At this time, the request is under review by DEEP and we are awaiting their response and determination. There is no further action required from the Town until that review process is complete.

We appreciate everyone's patience and will provide updates as soon as additional information becomes available.

Our Town's website does have information and a zoom meeting that was done 4/22/25 if you would like more information, please go under Services & Community and click Beach Pond or contact the First Selectmen Brian Muschiano [email protected] with any questions.

Parade is on as scheduled today!

The Voluntown Memorial Day Parade is happening! Monday, May 25th, at 2pm the parade will start with a ceremony at Robbins Cemetery. Parade will then form and proceed to Veteran's Memorial on Town Green. Parade will then continue to Voluntown Elementary School.
Be prepared for traffic stops on 165 and 138.

As we work to honor and recognize our local Vietnam Veterans, we want to make sure no one is unintentionally missed. If you have a loved one who served in the Vietnam War and is buried in Voluntown, please contact Fire Marshal Jody Grenier at [email protected] or First Selectmen Brian Muschiano at [email protected] with their name an burial site.

We want to ensure every Veteran receives the recognition remembrance they deserve! Thank you for helping us honor those who served and sacrificed.
