Did you know that the Pizza Hut Book-it program is still going strong? The Book it program has open enrollment for Teachers pre-k-6th grade starting Sept 1st. The website also provides several resources to help your students reach their goals.

🚨🚨🚨Bath County Schools Teacher and Staff, it is time for our Outreach Services Giveaway. The wonderful Emily Richter curated these awesome baskets and I’m so excited for some lucky people to win them.

The rules:

1. Must be employed with Bath County Schools.

2. Must COME in to the library and pick up an Outreach Services Paper. This gets your name into the drawing for one of the two totes.

3. Go ahead and schedule an Outreach service for your school or classroom and get 10 additional tickets into the drawing.

4. If you have received Library Outreach Services for your School or Classroom in the 2025/2026 school year and would like to resume those services this year go ahead and contact Whitney before August 14th and you will be automatically entered with 10 tickets.

August 14th is the last day to enter. Names will be drawn on August 17th.

Homeschool material swap this Friday. You can drop off stuff you want to get rid of on Thursday afternoon. I ask that anything donated is clean and bug free. If you are new or interested in Homeschooling this is a good time to meet with some local seasoned families that may be able to answer questions you may have. If you want to "shop" the swap, it is highly encouraged that you donate something. This is perfect for some of you that are decluttering.

-No monies are to be exchanged.
-No babysitters on site.
-Nope, I sure don't know what will be available or what anyone is donating.
-I also have no idea what ages the material will be geared towards.

We had pizza and dirty sodas while we bejeweled our favorite books ❤️

Thank you to everyone that showed up and I’m sorry if I didn’t get a picture of you. I had a new kiddo every-time I turned around (which is a really awesome problem to have.)

This was our last Tween-Teen program for Summer Reading. We will resume Tween/Teen programs in September.

🦕🦖 Friday at 2pm and again at 4pm we will be hosting a Dino-Lab with Jason Lindsey. This is a family STEM program suitable for all ages. This will take place at the Bath County Memorial Library in the Conference Room!

Just a reminder. All Summer Reading Logs need to be turned in to the library no later than August 7. If you are a Tote or Bookmobile Patron, Please get them in on your next route day so we can get totals! Thank you to everyone that participated! It’s been my best Summer Reading yet (I’m also pooped!)
