Contestants Needed for Little Miss & Miss Little Rock Queen Contest

Once again, the Little Rock Town & Country Club will be sponsoring the annual Corn Show Queen Contest. The 2026 contest will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026 at 5:30 pm under the tent. Miss Little Rock – Ava DeBoer and Little Miss Little Rock – Emmersyn Kruse will crown their successors at the conclusion of the contest.

The committee is seeking contestants to vie for the honor of being Little Miss or Miss Little Rock.

Little Miss Little Rock Contestant Criteria:

◊ Must be a student in grades 1, 2, or 3 for the 2026-2027 school year at Little Rock Elementary and live in the Little Rock section of the GLR school district.

Miss Little Rock Contestant Criteria:

◊ Must be a student at GLR High School for the 2026-2027 school year and live in the Little Rock section of the GLR school district.
◊ Must be 15 years of age by July 15, 2026
◊ Must not have ever been married or have any children

All contestants will be judged on poise, personality, attitude, leadership, and citizenship. THERE IS A TALENT PORTION OF THE CONTEST (Miss Little Contests Only). Duties of Little Miss and Miss Little Rock include riding the Little Rock Float in the Corn Show parade with the other contestants. The queens are also asked to represent Little Rock in various area parades from September 2026 to August 2027. Parade registration will need to be completed by parents of queens. Miss Little Rock will also represent Little Rock at the Lyon County Fair Queen Contest in July of 2026.

🔹 There may still be air or debris in the lines, so please:
• Bleed your lines
• Turn valves on slowly

⚠️ BOIL WATER NOTICE UPDATE ⚠️

All residents who are affected by the boil water advisory have now been directly notified.

The boil water notice applies only to Main Street (from Fisher Street north)

All other areas of town are not affected and do not need to boil water.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation while this issue is being addressed. Further updates will be shared as soon as they are available.

📢 Rec Center Rental Information

The updated Rec Center Rental Agreement is now posted and available to view.

🔑 Reminder for renters:
Your rental key fob provides access to the gym only and does not include access to the weight room.

🏀 Rec Center Members:
When the Rec Center is rented, the gym will be closed for the entire day, as renters receive full-day access with their reservation.
➡️ Members will still have access to the weight room, but not the gym.

📅 You can view all scheduled rentals on the Rec Center Rental Google Calendar.
