We have passes for our library patrons!
The Library now has free passes to the Botanical Gardens in Boothbay. The passes will cover up to two adults and 10 children (under 18). You will need to contact the Library with the specific date that you would like to visit the gardens and the number of adults and children. You will then pick up the passes from the Library and take them with you to present at your visit.

The Library has free passes to the Railway Village Museum. This pass will cover two adults and all children in the vehicle. You will need to contact the Library with the specific date that you would like to visit the Museum and number of adults and children. You will then pick up the pass from the Library and take it with you to present at your visit.

Maine State Parks & Historic Sites
The pass admits occupants of up to a 17 passenger vehicle to day-use facilities of Maine State Parks and Historic Sites. This pass can be borrowed for 1 week. Please note: the Maine State Park passes is not accepted at the following locations: Acadia National Park, Allagash Wilderness Waterway, Baxter State Park, Maine Wildlife Park or Swan Island, Penobscot Narrows Observatory, Penobscot

Walk Around Town Summer Stroll in Fayette 2026


Visit Fayette, Maine’s cemeteries and walk some closed or dirt roads in town. We will start this adventure on June 25, July 2, July 9,2026. Meet at Underwood Memorial Library at 9:30 AM.

Visit our past residents and hear how they lived. Walk and learn about topics related to the history of Fayette. Find the name and wars on the stones of our veterans. You're invited to come and tell the story of your own friends and relatives at each site.

June 3rd- Painting rocks with Mrs. Bruen. Mrs. Bruen is back! She has a story to share and rocks to paint designs on. Come join her for some fun!

University of Maine Cooperative Extension Nutrition/Cooking Classes
We’re thrilled to welcome Debbie Barnett from the University of Maine Cooperative Extension throughout the month of April! Debbie is part of the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), which offers fun and interactive food and nutrition education for both adults and kids.

She’ll be hosting programs on Wednesday evenings from 6:00–7:00 PM, and we’d love for you to join us!
