🎉🎉Today we celebrated Beth Jones on her retirement after 16 years as Assistant Town Clerk and, for about four months earlier this year, Interim Town Clerk. She officially holds the record for shortest term as town clerk in Waterbury history! 👏We thank Beth with all our hearts for her exceptional service to the Waterbury community. ❤️

On Primary Day, Waterbury kids exercised their right to vote for the new dog tag design, and the winner is a Gold Paw! 72 kids voted 😲, and the paw received 35 votes, winning by a mile! Purple won the popular vote for color but gold was the most frequently paired with votes for the paw, giving it the edge. (Some Electoral College-type math right there! 🤔)
