The system had to be depressurized again this morning. There is repair work needing to be done on the water tower and we had to make sure the pipe feeding the tower is completely drained. It should be a short disruption.
Boil order continues until further notice.
Repairs can't be made until at least Wednesday due to the cold temperatures.
You will continue to have water, however it should be boiled before drinking.

Water has just been turned back on, we do now have a boil ORDER since pressure was lost in the system. Boil order will continue until we have results of bacteria samples over a 2 day period. Expect to be under a boil order until Monday or Tuesday of next week.
Bingham will be barricaded from Broadway to Hwy 3 tomorrow, you will have to use Pritchett to leave town to the North, unless you live North of the street cut on Bingham.

UPDATE: Repair work is still in progress.
The break is believed to be a single resident's service line running under the street on Bingham, so there is very little risk for contamination in the system. We will leave the boil advisory in place for now, but likely won't become a requirement.
It is likely there will be service interruption to the whole town sometime tomorrow (January 21st) while repairs are being made.
The pipe running up to our water tower has also been frozen for the past couple of days, the pump is running continuously with a pressure release valve on a fire hydrant on the SE side of town, this is the reason you probably don't have the normal water pressure. This may have to continue until after the cold snap this weekend.
*Edited to add that the water tower has been bypassed, hope that makes it make more sense!!!

Advisory still in effect this evening. The break is on the North end of Bingham Avenue. Repairs should begin tomorrow. If possible, use Pritchett to leave/return to the North to give the work crew the space they need.
Customers on Bingham Ave North of Broadway Street will likely have extended outages tomorrow, January 20th.

The City is issuing a boil advisory. We have a water main break, please use water sparingly. Again it's an "advisory", not an "order".
Please share this information with neighbors who may not be able to see this.
We will keep this page updated until the problem is resolved.
