On 8/2/26 Officers of the Town of Carroll Police Department were called to an address on Page Rd in the Town of Carroll for a complaint of fi****ms being discharged to close to a residence.

Upon arrival, Officers found 2 males identified as Jonathan Marrero Rosario (20yr old) and Joshua D Tolliver (23yr old) of Jamestown NY, to each be illegally in possession of handguns with no NYS pistol permit.

Further investigation found one of the handguns was reported stolen. All of the handgun magazines in their possession exceeded the legal capacity requirements in NYS.

They were arrested for:
-Environmental Conservation Law 11-0931(4)(a)(2) discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling house.
-Criminal possession of a weapon 2nd
-Criminal possession of a weapon 3rd (4 counts)
-Criminal use of a firearm 2nd
-Criminal possession of stolen property 4th

Both subjects were transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.

On 6/02/2026 the Carroll Police Department received a call of a suspicious situation in the area of Venman St. After an investigation it was found that, Crystal Vogt 39 of Jamestown had transported several juveniles under the age of 17 from Jamestown to this location in Frewsburg. There were other juveniles present with the intent to engage in a physical altercation. Vogt was charged with seven counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She was given an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Carroll Court at a later date.

On 1/08/2026 Carroll Police Department received an alleged fraud complaint. After a lengthy investigation it was found that, Louise Anderson 51 of Frewsburg NY, defrauded another person by obtaining a signature on a document by means of misrepresentation. On 05/28/2026 Anderson was charged with Fraudulently Obtaining a Signature. She was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Carroll court at a later date.

On 5/19/2026 at approximately 4:50pm the Town of Carroll Police Department was dispatched to 216 N. Pearl St. for a check the well-being. After an investigation, it was determined that Nicole Walker was trespassing at a local business and refusing to leave. Nicole Walker was placed under arrest for trespassing. When officers attempted to place Nicole in the patrol car she refused multiple lawful orders, hindering officers in the performance of their duties. Nicole was additionally charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd.

On 5/14/2026 at approximately 4:50pm the Town of Carroll Police Department was dispatched to the Ethan Allen factory building on 36 Railroad Ave for a report of a burglary in progress. Following an investigation, it was determined that James Wall committed the offense of Burglary in the third degree, Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree, Petit Larceny and Possession of Burglar’s Tools. James Wall was taken into custody and transported to Town of Carroll Police Department for processing. Wall was later transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for the Centralized Arraignment Program.

The Town of Carroll Police Department is investigating a property damage accident that occurred late last night, early this morning at the Maple Grove Cemetery on Frew Rd St. The vehicle involved left the scene and is suspected of having significant front end damage. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Town of Carroll Police Department.
