Out of respect for the life and service of Eric Thaxton, City offices will be closed tomorrow from 10:00am– 2:00pm.

We join our community in honoring a man who gave so much to Daisetta through his leadership, service, and dedication.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Thaxton family during this time.

Repairs at the Hull well plant have been completed and service has been restored. However, until further notice the City of Daisetta is under a Boil Water Notice.

Residents should boil water for at least two minutes before consuming, including for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or making ice.

We will provide an update as soon as the notice is lifted. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Water service may be temporarily interrupted due to a repair at the Hull well plant, which supplies water to the City of Daisetta. Crews are changing out a valve, and residents may notice temporary variations in water pressure.

There is no cause for alarm, and repairs are expected to be completed later this evening.

Residents are asked to please conserve water until repairs are complete and normal service is restored.

The Boil Water Notice has been lifted. Water is now safe for normal use. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Following repairs to a water line damaged by a contractor, the City of Daisetta is issuing a Boil Water Notice. Please boil water for at least three minutes before drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. Updates will be provided as soon as conditions are cleared.

12:00am - Water Service Update

Repairs have been completed, and water service is now being restored.

Out of an abundance of caution, the City of Daisetta is issuing a Boil Water Notice until further notice.

Traffic Advisory: Please continue to avoid W. Plum Street at Highway 770 while crews finalize work in the area.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated city crew for their long hours and hard work. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we ensure the safety of both our residents and our water system.

11:10pm - Water Interruption Update

Repairs remain underway after the line was found to be broken beneath the roadway. Our awesome city crew is now working diligently to access and repair the damaged section.

We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as they work to restore service.

We promise — no one’s sitting around sipping bottled water for fun. A vehicle took out a hydrant, and it’s not a quick fix. Our crew is working hard (and knee-deep in mud) to get water restored as soon as possible. Hang tight — we’ve got this.
