‼️Urgent Action Needed! Tell Dane County we say FLOCK NO to Flock cameras in our neighborhoods.‼️

On Tuesday, March 24th @ 5:30 PM the Dane County Board PP&J Committee is introducing a resolution that would work to remove Flock cameras from our community.

We need YOUR voice to help make this a reality. Attend the meeting in person or send an email to Dane County Board members & tell them to vote YES to 2025 RES-403.

Flock cameras are a direct threat to our immigrant neighbors, reproductive rights & protestors. Scroll through for more information & how to take action. See next message for an email template we’ve drafted for you to contact your representatives (or to adapt into a script

We CANNOT be neutral about this. We HAVE to care and take action. 🦅

we’ve been getting lots of messages about how to get ahold of our prints for those who haven’t been able to make it to our events & we finally have at least one answer for you!!! (sorry — no ordering from us directly yet, wompwomp)

thanks to our friends at A Room of One's Own Bookstore, Madison WI , you can now get your hands some of our designs ~in store only~. all funds raised go toward ongoing mutual aid efforts in the twin cities. swipe through our post to see what we’ve got available there & remember to tag us when you get something bc we love to see our designs out in community. 🥹

the latest round of donations went to our friends at North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center in North Minneapolis to help them buy groceries & other household essentials for families impacted by ICE. 💗

we are soooo excited to support worker justice wisconsin with screen printing, a kids table, and mutual aid fundraising at their Protecting Immigrants At Work training. we’ll have limited supplies of blank shirts for printing, so make sure to bring your own!

we’ll have some of our previous designs available for purchase as totes, buttons, patches, shirts & more for suggested donations. all funds raised will go to support ongoing mutual aid efforts in the twin cities.

So angry about ICE, we’re doing it twice!!!

We are thrilled to announce our second Midwest Melts ICE Community Action Fair this Sunday, February 1.

There will be more KYR trainings, more screen printing, of course more donation collecting, and new offerings like a kids table (childcare during trainings!) and TBA community-building activities to strengthen our bonds here while helping our neighbors in MN.

We’re in this for the North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center (), the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund (), and all of our neighbors here in WI, over in MN, and across the Midwest.

We can’t wait to see you there!!!

‼️ ACAB Underground School & Abolition Geographies Collective are working together to put on a Know Your Rights & Digital Security Training! ‼️

This training will help folks attain (or refresh) knowledge on their rights when protesting & doing other forms of movement work as well as provide folks with practical steps they can take to tighten up their digital security to ensure they are doing what they can to protect themselves & their community. There will be food, refreshments & childcare provided to help remove barriers for our community.

DATE: THURSDAY, JANUARY 29th
TIME: 6:00 PM
LOCATION: Science Hall, Room 180 (On UW Campus)

Beloved community, our friends in Minneapolis have informed us that ICE murdered another community member.

We are in the process of fast tracking our trainings so that our community can have tangible actions they take to create a semblance of safety within their neighborhoods.

We will have finalized times & locations on Monday when we can confirm space, but for now please keep Thursday, January 29th in the evening & Sunday, February 1st open if you are interested in trainings on Bystander Know Your Rights During ICE Interactions & Digital Security as Activists. We will also use these trainings to offer space for you to build community networks within your neighborhood and more.

Y’ALL. We are BLOWN AWAY. Midwest Melts Ice Community Action Fair by the numbers: 500+ attendees, 2500+ lbs of food and item donations, $3167.60 for our Minneapolis neighbors. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

As we all know, the situation in MPLS is ever-changing, and needs are constantly evolving. Our comrades on the ground in MPLS directed us to North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center () for our food/item donations, and ’s rent assistance fund for undocumented and American Indian folks of East Saint Paul for our monetary donations (you can Venmo the fund ). Food/item donations were dropped off on 1/17 and 1/18, and monetary donations were transferred on 1/19 and 1/20.

We are completely blown away by the turnout and support our community showed for last week’s event. Our community is hungry for ways to turn our anger into action. We hear you, and we can only do this together. We must stay active and stay informed. We’re honored to learn and grow alongside you. Stay tuned, and see you at the next one 🫡
