I signed the term limits pledge in December, because leadership should change and evolve to reflect the people served. I will restate that public service was never meant to be a lifetime appointment. It’s meant to be service: accountable, responsive, and rooted in the present. Rotation in leadership strengthens trust, limits entrenched power, and opens the door for new generations to step up and lead.
