At the end of the month funding for the Knowles-Nelson program will run out. This program has provided funding for so many wonderful trails and parks around our community, including the Hank Aaron State Trail. Next year, Legislative Democrats will take action and make sure the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program can continue helping us conserve our natural spaces for future generations.

After months of working with Governor Tony Evers and Senator Tim Carpenter we are moving to the next step of bringing more noise barriers to Greenfield. 🚧Construction Update 🚧
76th Street over Forest Home Avenue will be closed overnight on Monday, June 8, and Tuesday, June 9, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for bridge work.
Construction remains on schedule for completion in early summer, weather permitting.

Memorial Day highlights the sacrifices so many of our servicemembers and theirs families have made protecting us over the last 250 years. We honor those who paid the ultimate price to secure our freedom.
I spent time this weekend at the Greenfield veterans ice cream social doing just that. Thank you former Alderman and School Board member, Retired Army Colonel Don Carlson for your service and support of this great event.
