Huge thanks to Wisconsin Community Action Program Association, West CAP, and Indianhead Community Action Agency for your support and guidance to our constituents across Wisconsin!

Where Leadership Meets Community Action.

Wisconsin State Senator Jesse James of District 23 says, “The services provided by our local community action agencies are vital to my constituents. Housing, transportation, and education supports are particularly important for rural communities who might be forgotten otherwise. These resources strengthen families and communities by creating another pathway to stability and efficiency. I am so glad to have agencies like Indianhead Community Action Agency and West CAP working hard in the 23rd Senate district.”

Thank you Senator Jesse L. James for supporting Community Action!

Today marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Month. Supporting mental health has been one of my core priorities, both as a legislator and in law enforcement. It’s a complex issue that touches many lives across our communities.

Please remember to take time for yourself, and know that resources are available if you or someone you know is struggling.

What a AWESOME celebration day in our Chippewa Valley! Rogers Behavioral Health broke ground in Chippewa County, broke ground University of Wisconsin-Stout for their new Rec Center, and we celebrated over 346 years of educators from the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District who are retiring. Great seeing Representative Clint Moses, Representative Rob Summerfield, Rep. Karen Hurd, Senator Romaine Robert Quinn, Sen. Smith and Rep. Emerson.

Thank you to everyone who came together and made this happen, especially to my Roger’s peeps. You all are amazing and this wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t believe in the Chippewa Valley. Services which are very much needed and I am glad to be a small part of this legacy.

What better way to celebrate than on the day of Rogers Groundbreaking Ceremony in Chippewa Falls! 🐶

Meet Kobe, the therapy dog for Rogers Behavioral Health in Oconomowoc. Kobe is a vital team member and serves as a friendly presence, bringing comfort, smiles, and a little extra joy to patients each day! My staff members and I had the pleasure of meeting him, and he is amazing at his job!

🎉 Big news for Cornell Elementary School! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to share that Cornell Elementary has been named a 2024–25 Wisconsin School of Recognition by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction—and even more exciting, we earned recognition in all three categories: High Achieving, High Progress, and High Impact!

This outstanding accomplishment reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and families. Together, we are committed to supporting every learner and creating opportunities for success for all.

Thank you to our entire Cornell community for making this possible—we are so proud to be a part of it! 💙💛

Newest Chippewa Valley Eagle Scout Troop 71 Elliott Munsinger! Congratulations!
What a great Sunday afternoon celebrating Elliott, his parents, siblings, and grandparents. This is the 2nd 8th grader we have recognized from this troop. Wow!
Representative Clint Moses and I presented Elliott with a citation and flags flown over our Capitol. He earned well over the required merit badges, 49 total! Thank you for the invite!
