Today, our school was filled with pride, learning, and celebration during World Culture Day! 🌎❤️

Students and staff proudly wore cultural clothing, shared traditions, showcased performances, carried flags from around the world, and taught one another about the cultures that make our school community so special. From music and dance to stories, languages, and family traditions, today was a beautiful reminder that our diversity is our strength.

A huge thank you to the many families who joined us throughout the day to present in classrooms and help make this experience so meaningful for our students. Your time, knowledge, and willingness to share your culture helped create unforgettable learning opportunities for our Cheetahs!

We are so grateful for your generosity and partnership with our school community! 💙🐆

At KL Engineering, we believe strong communities are built through strong schools and meaningful local partnerships. We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with Chávez Elementary School through the Madison Public Schools Foundation’s Adopt-a-School program. We look forward to getting to know the students, staff, and families who make up the school community.

As part of this partnership, members of our team recently donated more than a dozen pairs of headphones to support classroom learning. During Teacher Appreciation Week, we were also happy to provide a meal for staff during their Friday in-service day as a small thank you for all they do each day.

We appreciate the Madison Public Schools Foundation for helping create opportunities for community partnerships like this, and we’re excited to continue supporting Cesar Chavez Elementary in the future.

What a fun way to celebrate our Book Ambassadors! 📚✨ Students wrapped up the year with a special visit from the Madison Reading Project, Inc. van and each got to pick out a brand new book to take home. Throughout the year, Book Ambassadors met weekly with their mentors to read together, build relationships, and grow their love of reading.

A huge thank you to the Madison Reading Project for supplying books for our scholars all year long and helping make reading so exciting and accessible for our students. We had such a blast this year and hope to continue growing this program for years to come!

We wrapped up an amazing Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week with lunch provided by KL Engineering! Thank you for your generosity and partnership with our school community. Community partners like KL Engineering help make a difference not only for our staff, but for our students and families as well. We are so thankful for your generosity and investment in our school community!

Day 3 of Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week was one for the books!

We loved spending time with the therapy dogs from Dogs on a Call—nothing better than some puppy snuggles to brighten the day. Our amazing PTO also treated staff to delicious subs, and we are so grateful for their continued support. 🐶❤️

Day 1 of Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is off to the best start!

A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for kicking things off with kindness chalk messages that brightened our staff’s morning and a delicious breakfast filled with homemade goodies. Such a thoughtful touch!
