Regardless of who you’re backing, the most important thing you can do today is show up. Voting is the most direct way to have a say in how our state and city are run.

🆘 MISSION CRITICAL: TREASURER NEEDED FOR STAND DOWN MADISON 🆘

​Stand Down Madison is at a crossroads for our 2026 events. Our team is ready to serve, our logistics are moving, and our mission is clear.

However we are missing one vital "Battle Buddy" to cross the finish line.

​WE NEED A TREASURER. To move forward with our 2026 veteran services, this seat must be filled by April 30th. This isn't just a volunteer role; it is the "Go/No-Go" factor for our upcoming events.

​The Setup is Ready for You:
​100% Digital & Organized: No messy boxes of receipts or old binders.
​Modern Banking: All financials are managed online through UW Credit Union for total transparency and ease of use.

​Mission Focused: You handle the fiscal oversight; we handle the boots-on-the-ground.

​The Mission: Manage our 2026 event budget and provide the fiscal oversight that ensures our veterans get the resources they’ve earned. 🇺🇸
​The Deadline: APRIL 30TH. If you have a head for numbers, a heart for veterans, and some experience with bookkeeping or finance, we need you on the team.

We’re back at WORT FM tonight for a powerful Access Hour / Pledge Drive edition of Vet Talk and this one is all about the voices, strength, and leadership of women veterans.
