Our trip to Norway is off to a great start! Our group started out in Oslo at the folk museum. We enjoyed the beautiful weather for the first few days. We explored Vigeland park before heading to Eidsvoll to see the house where the constitution was written and signed. Then to Hamar to the glass-covered ruins of the Hamar Cathedral. From there, we went to Lillehammer. We drove up to the Olympic Park and saw the ski jump hill where the opening ceremony took place at the 1994 Winter Olympic Games. We drove up to the top, and a few brave travelers took the stairs all the way down. From Lillehammer, we drove over the Dovre Fjell and hit our highest point of 1026 meters before descending into Rennebu where we visited the oldest Y-shaped church in the world.
