Fabulous Friday update!
We have been working through our pick up list for animals that have patiently waited for a kennel to open up. In the meantime we want to remind everyone that while this looks like a lot of open kennels, several of these dogs and kittens shared kennels.

But....we have so many thanks to give and are continuing to work through the back log of strays that are being fostered in the community by their finders.

Thank you to Fur Sisters - Furever Urs Rescue for taking in two adorable babies that were housed in our lobby and to Dog Disciples for helping with the transport to get the two cuties where they need to be.
Thank you to our amazing friends with Lab Rescue for taking Robin in.
Thank you to Puppy Hill Farm Animal Rescue for taking in the adorable litter of Lab mix puppies.
Thank you to Susan and her Husband at Steel Redemption Rescue for taking in Romeo and driving the 4 hours to pick him up.
And lastly thank you to Rocket's Refuge for taking in 2 of our adorable kittens today.

We still have close to 40 animals in our care and would greatly appreciate the love and support of sharing our posts to your friends and family. Who knows, you might be the one who helps save a life..or two

Do you remember Bean? The adorable lab mix that had an injured leg a few weeks ago?
We are thankful for the love and support that he has received from the moment he was found and through one medical crisis after another. Please take a moment to show him some love and support while he continues to go through treatments and surgery with Florida Urgent Rescue, Inc. - FUR

Bean was only in our care for a few minutes before he was transported to Madison Veterinary Clinic and fostered by the wonderful Lindsey. Then transferred to FUR but he left a trail of supporters along his path.

Everybody's favorite national holiday is coming up and what better way to celebrate than to give your pet the gift of safety? Fireworks can frighten animlas and cause them to run away from their homes and families.

MCSO ASU wants to help Madison County pets stay safe and get back to their people asap. MCSO ASU will be running a microchipping event from June 29-July 2nd. Madison County residents can call our office and request an appointment to have their pet outfitted with a Fi Nano microchip and registered at no cost. Appointments are limited and fill up fast!
