So good!!! Congratulations!

Last week the math team returned back from Math Competition with Thomas Amdur, Zining Fan, Ethan Amy and Cameron Furniss. The EHS Team came in 4th out of 32 teams in the competition and Thomas came in 4th in the individual competition (out of 128 kids). All these teams were made up of top math minds from across PA.

And that’s a wrap! PASA and PSBA Conference at Kalahari Resort was one for the books! So much good information! Final treat Sean Astin ((aka Samwise Ganges Lord of the Rings) spoke about Mental Health issues and the work he is doing to catapult the conversation.

Watch out for this one! It got me last night on the way to the Board meeting 😇

Dear East Penn School Community,

This is a reminder that, effective, Monday, October 13, a portion of Lower Macungie Road will be closed. The PA Turnpike Commission has announced the closure of Lower Macungie Road, between Cedar Crest Boulevard and Macungie Road, to complete the final tie-ins for the new bridge as part of the Turnpike widening project. The closure dates are Monday, October 13 through Monday, October 27, 2025 as long as the project remains on schedule.

All school bus routes that typically use Lower Macungie Road will be affected by this closure. Detours will be in effect and we ask you to please be patient as we expect there may be some delays in both the morning and afternoon.

Anyone who drives students to school should plan for a longer commute and use the official posted detour routes. Drivers should consider leaving earlier than usual to ensure timely arrival at school.

Please plan ahead, follow posted detours and exercise patience during this road improvement project.

If you weren’t able to be at our School Board meeting, here is the YouTube live recording. Last night was a long one, but well worth it. Please take a look and listen. The information regarding where we are at with usage and capacity at our elementary and middle school’s is an important topic. Many had concerns about the proposed reorganization. The project was placed on hold for more time to research and evaluate. Here are some of the findings presented last night.

Also we celebrated our top PSAT scoring Students at the top of the meeting congratulations to all!!
