Six years ago, we were battling graffiti on the Elam Alexander plot and the Bond and Johnston plot. Today, we are fortunate to spend our time in a very different way and that's repairing grave markers and preserving everything in between, all in an effort to protect this one of a-kind GEM that created Macon-Macon-Bibb County.

Happy Labor Day / Annie Blake Kennedy / 12 or more CONCH shells were carefully removed from her bedstead / The shells were deliberately placed by family in 1872, more than likely. / We are currently in the process of repairing her marble 'Bedstead' / All items/shells and grave marker will be back to near original in two weeks. A short train with heavy machinery used to repair train rails passed by while we were repairing the grave marker for / CHARLES A.
