I preface my remarks by giving the Glory to God for ordained steps and putting me in the position to serve this county, and serve it well. He has called me and given me guidance throughout my life and continued to do so throughout this campaign. I trust fully that His guidance will be continual as I take on this new role as County Commissioner of District 3.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone that stood behind me or offered their time and a helping hand in any way!

It has been a thrill getting out around the community and meeting you guys, hearing your hopes and concerns for this county we call home. I’m ecstatic to jump in and see what we can do to keep this county’s heritage rural and wholesome for your family, my family, and the many generations to come.

To Mrs. Ann Watts, It was an honour and I pray all your future endeavors be blessed.

“I’m Korie Neal, a lifelong resident of Baker County. I have known Tyler for more than a decade and I believe he would make an excellent County Commissioner for Baker County.
When I consider what it takes for someone to be a qualified and effective County Commissioner, words like driven, experienced, ethical, and selfless come to mind. It is important for our elected officials to be knowledgeable about the role they’ll fill in office, but it is equally as vital that we elect men and women of good character. I am confident that Tyler’s character will be what propels him to make the right decisions for Baker County.
Several weeks ago, my husband and I decided to rebuild the fence surrounding our backyard. Tyler and his wife, Lani, happened to drive by and they stopped to visit. I’ll never forget how Tyler began picking up boards and jumped right in to help us. He didn’t have to, and although we didn’t ask for help, he was more than willing to sacrifice his time to get the job finished. This is what we need in a County Commissioner; someone willing to sacrifice and put the best interest of others first. As a mom raising children in Baker County, it encourages me to see Tyler stepping up to make a difference not only for this generation, but for the generations to come.”

I kicked last week off by getting out, throwing up some signage, and talking to some folks. We hope you’ve seen them around town, it’s getting to be that time! Only 9 more weeks until Election Day!
