Chris Charles, LISD Trustee District 4 I am Chris Charles, a father of a third grader at Clear Fork Elementary and current board member of Lockhart ISD. Please send concerns my way.

(District 4) I back teachers, promote funding schools, and support safe learning environments for our students. My name is Chris Charles and Iā€™m a father of a third grader at Clearfork Elementary. I have lived in Lockhart for over 8 years, and Iā€™m proud to call this my home. I believe in a safe learning environment in and out of the classroom; the safety of our kids will always be my top priority.

I will make sure that school overcrowding and classroom disruptions are kept to a minimum. I will make sure students have proper nutrition to carry them through the day. I will also make sure high school students have a diverse curriculum for better career opportunities. Please feel free to email or message me any of your concerns. I will be giving updates on what the board has been voting on after regular meetings. Thank you for making me your representative for the people of LISD District 4.

Strawn Elementary new field celebration. Ballet Folklorio started the celebration off. About 100 kids with soccer balls ended it by playing hard on the new (recycled) artificial turf.

Sorry I have not been posting much since the supply list. It has been a whirlwind of activities since LISD started up the 2025-2026 school year.(photos below) I'm glad everything has been smooth sailing. Has anyone noticed less traffic around Clearfork and Navarro elementary schools??? We really needed Borchert Loop Elementary.
