CoreyforLowell Results driven, District 2 (Centralville) Lowell City Councilor. Candidate for Lowell City Council - Centralville (District 2) seat. I haven’t stopped since.

I am a lifelong resident of Lowell. I understand what it takes to get things done, and I know how much knowledge and wisdom my neighbors bring to the table, too. I attended our public schools, forged lifelong friendships at the Boys & Girls Club, and graduated from Lowell Middlesex Academy Charter School. When I was young, many of my peers struggled to achieve success because of the lack of opport

unities available to them in our community. My campaign for City Council really started with an opportunity from the City when I was 14. I got a job in Lowell’s Summer Youth Employment Program. That city job turned into a calling: I realized that I loved serving my community by working to improve its neighborhoods. I worked for the Department of Public Works for 15 years, and my colleagues chose me as our Union President. This year’s election system changes give Centralville’s problem-solvers a chance to shine. I’m ready to advocate for my neighbors of Centralville on the Lowell City Council. I know that Together We Make A Difference.

The campaign for the 16th Middlesex District State Representative race didn’t end with the result we were hoping for. I would like to first congratulate all of the candidates that were successful last night. Campaigning is draining so please, take some time to recharge.

I would like to thank all of the support our campaign has received over the past few months. Everyone that engaged and offered advice, criticism, encouragement, volunteer time, and everything in between, thank you.

Thank you to all of the voters that took time out of their busy day to cast a ballot. Our community is stronger with the more voices speaking up. Thank you to everyone that held a sign to display their candidate of choice. Thank you to all of our poll workers, wardens, and our election officials that provided a clean, smooth opportunity for our neighbors to be heard.

Our opponents team ran a strong campaign and deserve the victory. I am wishing them success. I am looking forward to continuing the work on a local level that we have begun over the past 5 years. We have much to do and our local challenges will not go unaddressed. I am honored and privileged to have the opportunity to continue being our Centralville Neighborhoods City of Lowell District Councilor. Let’s continue improving our place we call home one challenge at a time. Thank you all again.

Through the ups and downs of this campaign, one thing has remained consistent. Your support! I am eternally grateful for all of the support I have received over these past 5 years.

I NEED YOU TODAY! I need you to call a friend or two, grab your family member, call your neighbor and go vote. It might even mean dodging a few raindrops. If we all get out and vote today, we will send a clear message to Beacon Hill that our residents of the 16th Middlesex District (Centralville, Pawtucketville, North Chelmsford, and the Westlands in Chelmsford) have had enough of the go along to get along. We will convey a message that we are sending an experienced advocate carrying our best interest to the table.

I humbly ask for your vote today, September 1st. Please vote Corey M Robinson.

One thing our communities share is we have always been close knit. We have consistently kept our politics local. Whenever we had an issue pop up, we picked up the phone and made a call to have it addressed.

To see outside money funneled into Lowell and Chelmsford to support my opponent may be disappointing but not surprising.

Ask yourself, why would an organization out of Brooklyn, New York spend money to put a notice in your mailbox telling you I am bad for our community because I voted against allowing illegal drug injection sites into our neighborhoods?

Why would they tell you I am bad for our communities for voting against allowing 30 units of apartments or “condos” built on an acre of land? (Essentially eliminating single family neighborhoods)

On the other side of this mail piece, they tell you my opponent is good. That they will “stand up to special interest” yet special interest paid and distributed the mailer and the candidate has gratefully partnered and been funded by “special interest”.

We have a choice to make at the ballot box. Are we willing to allow special interest and their messengers to make decisions on Beacon Hill on our behalf? Or are we willing to collaboratively take a stand and demand our representation works for us and is held accountable by us.

A vote on or before Tuesday, September 01 for Corey M. Robinson is a clear expression that we object to outside influence, special interest, and those willing to carry their water. Let’s work together to correct these State created issues we discuss at our kitchen tables. Our families depend on it.

As we have been aware, if you follow the money it can lead you to what your brain has been telling you right along. Here in the 16th Middlesex District, State Representative race, if you follow the money, it leads you to “tourist” investors.

From Brooklyn to LongMeadow, what is frequently portrayed as a “Grass Roots” campaign full of “ rhetoric about “standing up to corporate interest” and community activism is merely another vehicle willing to carry “special interests “ agenda on Beacon Hill.

Our residents clearly are in need of real change. Change that isn’t beholden to special interests, party or identity politics, (all which have been demonstrated throughout this race), or the current status quo.

A vote for Corey M. Robinson on or before September 01 sends the residents of the 16th Middlesex District’s voice for the next two years. It sends an experienced advocate that has an established record of standing up to the establishment. It sends a neighbor that has been funded by our neighbors to Boston to begin the work correcting these feel good policies that have placed us in our current affordability, quality of life situation. Let’s get back to the kitchen table issues and send a message to outside investors as well as to the architects of the current broken system in the statehouse.

On this past Tuesday's 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐏𝐮𝐥𝐬𝐞, we glanced at a Super PAC's act...
