Neighborhood Watch program or group in which residents keep watch over one another's houses, patrol the streets, etc., in an attempt to prevent crime, also work with the local Police Dept. It is obvious that the police cannot be everywhere and see everything. The police need us to be their eyes and ears when they are not around. We need to call the police when we see a crime take place or suspicio
us activity in our neighborhood. We know what suspicious activity is because we live in the neighborhood. Most of the crime that takes place in a neighborhood the police cannot make an arrest without you being a witness to the crime and for the victim to make a formal complaint. It takes a neighborhood to get involved. It takes you!!! We do not post gofundme links or collections— we will post 5013c fundraiser efforts for local community non profit organizations
Important Message
Our Neighborhood Watch does not promote vigilantism. You are never asked to put yourself in harm's way to prevent crime or encouraged to, "catch a thief", by luring them. You should only observe and report suspicious activities to the police department. This leaves the responsibility for confronting and apprehending criminals where it belongs, with our Loves Park and Winnebago County Police Officer's.

NEW RULE.. Anybody that has the Neighborhood Watch Page, "blocked", and just uses it for their convenience, I will now be banning. If a inappropriate comment is made, I need to be able to send a warning message as to why I deleted it. If the mistake is made again, I would then have to ban you. Again, please "unblock" the page. Just because you unblock the page doesn't mean I can see your personal page it is only if I need to message you. Thank you,
