Katherine Hidalgo, 26, was a dedicated police officer who proudly served with the Littleton Police Department since 2024. Her commitment to protecting and serving her community, she was an extraordinary daughter, a loyal friend, and a compassionate coworker whose kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her. Katherine was a devoted mother to her two-year-old son, whom she loved more than anything in the world. Her sudden passing following a medical emergency has left a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and colleagues, but her warmth, courage, and love will forever be remembered.

While families gathered, they kept watch through the night,
Ensuring peace, no matter the fight.

On Christmas Eve, Officer Miller raced to a crash,
Helping the injured in a flash.
Through snow and rain, the calls didn’t cease,
But their dedication brought safety and peace.

Though away from family, they gave all they could,
Because serving others is their greatest good.
