If you live in Old Louisville, you may have found it difficult to vote this morning with a paving project blocking your entrance to the polling location. That was an unacceptable error on the part of multiple parties, but our office has been working with administration officials to get the street open and the entrance to the voting location cleared!

Heads up! W Oak Street will be closed between S 13th St and S 15th St beginning at 7am on Tuesday, May 19, with a goal of being reopened by the end of the week. The railroad bridge that crosses Oak Street suffered some damage recently and the P&L Railway needs to do some repair work to keep it safe for rail traffic. Detour signs will be posted and traffic rerouted onto adjacent streets around the affected portion of Oak. Our office is in contact with P&L and have asked them to update us if any of these details change.
