🚨 MAJOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SOUTHWEST LOUISVILLE 🚨
Southwest Louisville and Valley Station are welcoming a transformative new investment to our community.
Foxconn Technology Group, one of the world’s leading electronics manufacturers, has selected Louisville as the location for its first U.S. production facility. The project, located at 6675 Randy Coe Lane, represents a $173 million investment and is expected to create approximately 180 high-quality jobs. Construction is underway, with the facility expected to begin operations in the third quarter of 2026.
This investment brings significant opportunities for our community, including:
• Approximately 180 new careers in advanced manufacturing and technology
• Expanded workforce training opportunities in engineering, robotics, skilled trades, and technical fields
• Economic growth that will benefit local families and businesses
• Strengthening of domestic manufacturing and supply chain capabilities
• Increased visibility for Southwest Louisville as a destination for future investment and development
This project also supports the revitalization of America’s tool-and-die industry, an essential manufacturing sector that has experienced decades of decline due to overseas competition. By bringing this work back to the United States, Louisville is helping position itself as a leader in the next generation of advanced manufacturing.
This is an exciting win for Southwest Louisville and a testament to what can be accomplished through strong partnerships, strategic investment, and a workforce ready to meet the demands of the future.
The South End continues to prove that it is a place where businesses can grow, families can thrive, and investment can succeed.
