The Happy Birthday Circle Our mission is to create a safe, fun place in the heart of Louisville while educating the public on and honoring the legacy of the Hill sisters.

The Happy Birthday Park will provide a cultural, artistic, and economic icon for Louisville, celebrating the spirit of innovation and excellence that defines our city, as is embodied in the lifework of Mildred J. Hill and Patty Smith Hill and their enduring demonstration of the community value of play and the potential that lies within very child. Creating this family-friendly space will educate t

he public, encourage creativity, and foster neighborhood growth. The park will be located on the southeast corner of 4th Street and Chestnut.
