We are hiring! 📣 Sad news y’all: we are losing Bekah AND Lucia in a couple of weeks, but we are so proud of them for getting jobs in their areas of focus in college! But that means we have space for another awesome crew member or two.

We have a pretty fun group here and are looking for someone who vibes with our team. Must be friendly and reliable (ie ON TIME!) and enjoy being around kids & families. Barista experience is preferred but we’re always down to train the right person. You also must be willing and able to clean constantly and maintain a healthy, sanitary environment.

We definitely need someone who can work on Sundays from either 8-1 or 1-6:30! This is non-negotiable as it’s our biggest staffing gap to fill at the moment. We are also hoping to hire someone who can start no later than June 29th.

We are not currently hiring for seasonal workers. We want someone who wants to stick around for a while. Most of our employees have worked here for 1 to 4 years! We have a tight knit team who enjoys being here and wants a reliable and supportive teammate.

YOU GUYS! Our first class with Social Motion Fitness was nothing short of amazing. We busted our booties with Becca and it was amazing working out and connecting with a bunch of other moms who are ready to strengthen their bodies. The kiddos played and we broke a serious sweat. I am so sore today, but in the best way. Being reminded of what your body can do is the best reward.

Here's what to know about classes going forward:
⭐️ The intensity level is medium, and Alex (co-owner of Social Motion) will be providing easier modifications next to Becca throughout the classes!
⭐️ This is NOT a yoga class. Social Motion is a beat driven, full body workout combining body weight and resistance bands, with low impact, grounded moves that will still get your heart rate up. But don't let that intimidate you -- YOU CAN DO THIS!
⭐️ Members always get 20% off these classes (email us for your member packet if you haven't received one!)
⭐️ It's 100% acceptable to order cheesecake after class. You definitely deserve it.
⭐️ We are working on bulk class passes & weekend classes! Stay tuned.

I hesitated posting this because I am selfish. If you all come buy this every day and I can't eat it, I'm honestly not sure how I will manage. This is the third time I've eaten this for lunch this week.

Introducing my new favorite item on Dara's menu at the bakery here at Glow Worm: The Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Brioche Roll.

It's everything you've ever wanted from buffalo chicken. It's like a dip rolled into a sweet roll, perfectly baked, gooey, warm, comforting, a little spicy, filling and just absolutely delightful. I guess I'll let the cat out of the bag here and tell you to come get one, because it's stupid how good they are. I feel like that way about most of her food, but she's just outdone herself here. It's silly. It's even sillier that y'all aren't here eating it every day like I am.

Fitness classes are back at Glow Worm! We've partnered with Social Motion Fitness to bring you seriously parent-friendly classes in our Play Lounge led by lead instructor, Becca. We've done A LOT of different fitness classes for kids and adults at Glow Worm over the last 4 years, and we are super excited about this new partnership!

Somewhere between “Mommy & Me” and drop-off care at the gym, we’re bringing classes where you and your kids can exist in the same space, and both get exactly what you need.

The schedule:
🕙 10am-10:15am: Arrival & setup for class
🕥 10:15am-11am: Workout while your kids play nearby
🕚 11am-11:30am: Relax, grab a coffee or some food from our cafe, and let your kiddos finish out their play session

You don't have to worry about:
⛔️ Childcare
⛔️ Intimidating studio vibes
⛔️ Your feral kids being in a space where they aren't welcome
⛔️ Stepping away from the mat to tend to your kiddos
