Farmington Historic Plantation

Farmington Historic Plantation Completed in 1816, Farmington was the center of a 550 acre hemp plantation owned by the Speed family and sustained by nearly 60 enslaved African Americans.

Abraham Lincoln, a good friend of Joshua Speed's, visted for three weeks in 1841.

Music in the Pavilion continues this month with the Todd Hildreth Trio - free concert, cash bar and concessions! Come out and join us from 6-8pm on Thursday, June 18th

Todd Hildreth has been a mainstay in the Louisville Jazz and creative music scene for more than 30 years, as a founding member of the Java Men, Squeeze-bot, Tiki Todd and the Limbomaniacs, and the Todd Hildreth trio. He is also been part of many other projects, such as King Kong, Love Jones, Liberation Prophecy, and many others. He teaches Jazz and pop culture at Bellarmine University.
Tonight he is joined by Meghan Pund on saxophone and clarinet and Ted Richardson on drums.

Free Monthly Concerts from May to September in the Farmington Pavilion. Cash bar and concessions available. Third Thursdays each month.
