🚫 PARKING ON SIDEWALKS IS ILLEGAL 🚫

The Louisiana Police Department would like to remind the public that parking on any sidewalk within the city is prohibited by ordinance.

Sidewalks are meant for pedestrians — including children, families, and individuals with disabilities. Blocking them creates unnecessary safety hazards and forces people into the roadway.

⚠️ Officers will be enforcing this ordinance, and citations will be issued.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our community safe and accessible for everyone.
