Bruin Political Union

Bruin Political Union The Bruin Political Union seeks to enhance involvement in the political process while encouraging collegial and thoughtful political discourse.

As a non-partisan group, we strive to incorporate all views and voices from all political groups on campus. In response to the increasingly hostile, divisive, and polarized political climate at UCLA and on campuses around the nation, Bruin Political Union is an organization who desires to increase the level of political discourse on campus through the creation of UCLA’s first ever non-partisan pol

itical debate union. The Bruin Political Union, organized for and by the students of the University of California, Los Angeles, seeks to enhance involvement in the political process among all members of the UCLA community while encouraging collegial and thoughtful political discourse.

“Hello everyone! In the past year, I have had the pleasure of engaging in thoughtful political discourse with my fellow Bruins. In recent years, increased partisanship and misinformation have challenged our democratic institutions by dividing others by ideology. As Finance Director and Vice Chair, I hope to provide support towards the platform BPU provides to countless Bruins to express their beliefs.
Beyond civic engagement, you may find me playing basketball on the hardwood, gaming on my Nintendo Switch, or binging movies and TV shows on Hulu! “💙💛
