We’re officially in the heart of it. Today is Jueves Santo, remembering the Last Supper and the call to serve one another. Tomorrow, we move into the solemnity of Good Friday. Saturday is that unique, quiet middle ground of Sábado de Gloria, and then, the best part—Easter Sunday.

It’s a powerful transition from shadows back into the light. Taking these next few days to reflect, reset, and get ready for the joy of the Resurrection.

Wishing you a meaningful Triduum and a very happy Easter.

Ya estamos de lleno en lo más importante. Hoy es Jueves Santo, un día para recordar la Última Cena y ese llamado a servir a los demás. Mañana entramos en la solemnidad del Viernes Santo. El sábado nos espera ese momento único de silencio y espera que es el Sábado de Gloria, y después, lo mejor de todo: el Domingo de Resurrección.

Es una transición muy fuerte de la oscuridad hacia la luz. Hay que aprovechar estos días para reflexionar, resetear y prepararnos para la alegría de la Pascua.

Les deseo un Triduo con mucho significado y una muy feliz Pascua.

The City of Bell wants everyone to enjoy a safe and stress free holiday season with their loved ones. To help, the City will not issue overnight parking citations from the evening of December 24 through the morning of January 2. Overnight parking enforcement will resume the evening of January 3.

On Thursday, we joined .la for the first day of school ride.
Together, we biked to 15 schools across Southeast LA, welcoming students back on two wheels.

We ride for joy, we ride with our immigrant community, and we ride because our streets should be safer and our neighborhoods deserve more options.

El jueves nos unimos a .la para el primer día de clases.
Pedaleamos juntos a 15 escuelas en el Sureste de Los Ángeles, dando la bienvenida a los estudiantes sobre dos ruedas.

Pedalamos por alegría, junto a nuestra comunidad inmigrante, y porque nuestras calles deben ser más seguras y nuestros vecindarios merecen más opciones.

National Night Out is tomorrow. Tuesday, August 5, from 5 to 8:30 PM.

We’re giving away free backpacks and school supplies for kids while they last.
Free haircuts are also available, but spots are limited so come early.
There will be food, music, games, and activities for all ages.

Come meet your Bell Police officers and firefighters, connect with neighbors, and enjoy the evening.
It’s free, it’s local, and it’s for everyone.
