Today, Rampart VICE and Gangs conducted search warrants at multiple locations involved in the illegal sales of to***co products. The operation was in coordination with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department parallel investigation. Ultimately, a large amount of to***co products were recovered. Outstanding job by all involved protecting the Castle. 🏰

On 10/22/2026 at approximately 0500 hours, Rampart Division Senior Lead Officers conducted a crime suppression task force at a problematic encampment located on the Northeast corner of Witmer and 7th St. Encampment is located across the street from the Mayfair Hotel. Officer’s enforcement actions led to the issuance of five Release From Custody citations for 41.18(a)(1) LAMC-Blocking sidewalk/ADA access with personal property. Officers worked closely with city entities. A CARE Plus clean-up was conducted with the Department Of Sanitation following our enforcement efforts. Outstanding work by all involved protecting the Castle. 🏰

Rampart Narcotics was back at it again last night keeping the Castle safe. They observed a suspect dealing near 7th and Hartford. During their investigation, approximately three ounces of fentanyl was seized. One suspect was arrested for 11351 H&S - Possession of fentanyl for sale. Later that evening, they were in the area of Beacon and James M. Wood Boulevard where they observed a vehicle known to be driven by a narcotic supplier in violation of the vehicle code. The squad contacted the driver of the vehicle who was found to be in possession of approximately two ounces of co***ne base, seven ounces of methamphetamine and $1,400. One suspect was arrested for 11378 H&S - Possession of methamphetamine for sale. Outstanding work by all involved keeping the community safe from illicit drugs. 🏰🫡

Last night was a very busy night for Rampart Patrol Officers who regularly go from call to call all night long. Tonight, Rampart Gang Officers were conducting routine patrol when they observed a driver inhaling nitrous from a balloon in a parked vehicle. Officers approached the vehicle to investigate and observed a hand gun in the back seat.

Officers took the suspect into custody without incident and recovered a loaded hand gun from the rear seat. Outstanding work by all involved protecting the Castle. 🏰

On October 10,2026, Rampart Gang Officers conducted a traffic stop for multiple vehicle code violations in the area of Pico and Burlington. During the traffic stop officers, observed a satchel in the passenger rear floorboard of the vehicle and a partially exposed handgun protruding from the bag. The suspect was taken it to Custody with the incident and the fi***rm was recovered. Outstanding job protecting the Castle. 🏰

Rampart Gang Units responded to a shooting radio call at 7th st and witmer. While canvassing the area, a second radio call came out of a possible suspect on Linwood and witmer.

Officers located the suspect lying under a parked vehicle. Officers took the suspect into custody and recovered a fi***rm at slide lock. Outstanding job by all involved protecting the Castle. 🏰

Today, Rampart VICE conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of a suspect for a violation of Penal Code § 350 (Sale of Counterfeit Goods). The operation resulted in the recovery of approximately 37 counterfeit luxury watches bearing the Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, and Cartier brand names, with an estimated retail value exceeding $370,000.
Additionally, counterfeit Burberry shirts were also recovered. Outstanding work by all involved protecting the Castle! 🏰

60 years ago today, the Los Angeles Police Department opened Rampart Station. Today, we honored 60 years of “Protecting the Castle” with a formal ceremony and inspection. Rampart personnel were nothing less than outstanding representing in their dress uniforms. Outstanding job by all involved. Also, many thanks to all our supporters who attended. 🏰🫡
