WHO WE ARE

SMF Los Angeles has provided training to Civilian, LEO/Military, Government and Corporate Security Contractors in a proven system of combat strategy and tactics that provides protection from strikes and attacks, destruction of opponents weapons, and domination of any combat or self-defense situation, executed with techniques that Attack, Quarter, and Neutralize Single or Multiple opponents.

Pekiti-Tirsia is a comprehensive Filipino Combat System that is effective from ancient times to modern day. Our focus is on teaching the fundamentals of weapons manipulation, strategy, and tactics utilizing a systematic progressive learning approach. Everything we will be doing can be adjusted to your skill level.

We do not teach “The Way” but “A Way.” Every action performed at PTK-SMF Los Angeles is done deliberately with determination. Courses of instruction are delivered in a professional manner with a steady progression and induced stress that enables the students to survive real world threats. We are affiliated with the Pekiti-Tirsia Kali Global Organization (PTKGO), under the direct authority, supervision and leadership of Tuhon Tim Waid.
