Hello and I trust things are well.
I'm back. This time to ask for your support for my race for Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council, and inform you of important vote-by-mail instructions and timelines, share a map of the CHNC boundaries, and provide details for an upcoming CHNC candidate forum on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
***** Who is eligible to vote?
Anyone who either lives, works, owns real property, or has a meaningful community connection to an organization in Central Hollywood may vote in the 2021 Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council election. However, in order to participate, you must first register to vote via the Los Angeles City Clerk Vote-By-Mail Application Portal. ***** What is the Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council?
Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council is an advisory body that empowers and advocates for the Central Hollywood community with City Hall on important issues like homelessness, bicycle and road safety, quality of life issues, community relationships with the LAPD, traffic improvements, development, and more. Plus, CHNC funds critical community events, programs, and organizations in response to the needs of the Central Hollywood community.
Participate in the CHNC election. Express your vote, voice, and opinion. And, I again ask for your support and vote for Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council.
***** What are the boundaries of the Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council?
The boundaries of the Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council extend from La Brea east to El Centro, and from Hollywood Boulevard south to Melrose (and Willoughby), as shown on the Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council map.
***** Step-by-Step Instructions to Register and Vote in the 2021 Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council Election
To register to vote-by-mail, visit https://addemplus.com/chnc and review the following step-by-step instructions to vote in the 2021 Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council election. The election window is open.
To register to vote, visit https://addemplus.com/chnc and complete the following, step-by-step:
Step 1: Go to https://addemplus.com/chnc.
Step 2: Click "Sign-up to Vote"
Step 3: Click "Vote-By-Mail Application Portal"
Step 4: Select "Create new account"
Step 5: Enter your First Name, Last Name, E-mail, E-mail confirmation, then select "Create"
Step 6: Return to your E-mail account and select "Confirm your E-mail Address by Clicking Here"
Step 7: Set up and save your password.
Step 8: Use your Voter Login to access the "2021 Neighborhood Council Vote-By-Mail Portal"
Step 9: Select "Create Voter Application" to start your Voter Application request.
Step 10: Enter your voter information and select "Next"
Step 11: Select "Create Voter Application"
Step 12: Return to your E-mail account to confirm the City Clerk received your Vote-by-Mail application for the Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council election.
Step 13: Once you have completed Steps 1 - 12, the City Clerk will send an E-mail to confirm that your vote-by-mail application for Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council was approved and you will receive your ballot via regular U.S. mail.
Step 14: Once you receive your ballot, I ask for your vote (for Charles Taylor) for Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council.
Step 15: Return your ballot in the postage paid envelope provided to the Los Angeles City Clerk.
