2017 Toyota Highlander Transmission Cooler Tube Replacement
I found a leak coming from the transmission cooler tube. Apparently this is a common issue where the tube rusts and forms a pinhole leak.
The part looks easy enough to replace, but the subframe is in the way when you try to unscrew it. I don’t have the tools available to drop the subframe or jack the transmission up to make the clearance.
I have seen videos where the mechanic would bend the tube straight, tighten it onto the transmission, and then bend it back as a way around the subframe/transmission blockage.
Has anyone done this repair this way? Could it potentially weaken the metal tube? I’d prefer to DIY this job, but would like to hear from others who performed this repair.

Transmission leak 2017 Chevrolet Silverado.
Timeline
-About November 2022 transmission completely died. Replaced through auto repair shop 3/9/23
-A couple months later (6/26/23) I noticed the fluid was leaking from what I assume to be the driveshaft. Take it to mechanic, says it’s a weephole, applies “sealant/lube”. (See photo 2 for notes). Leak stops.
-Today I notice it’s leaking…again fml. It’s not a lot, but enough to start dripping on the ground.
What should I do at this point?
I called and they said they’d take a look at it but I’m pretty concerned. Any and all advice would be awesome.

2015 Toyota camry The car makes a small knocking noise when I break and now it has turned into a small knocking noise randomly, not even over bumps. I assumed it was ball joints by looking at them. I tried to replaced them myself but could not get the pin out of the top nut. I took it somewhere they said the car was perfectly fine and they see no problems and they didn’t hear the small knocking noise at all. Today turning right out of a parking spot there was a thumping noise coming from the front left. I got out and checked and this is what I saw. Please tell me if that is normal or not.

Is this too much rust? Bought a 2015 Honda Accord 4cyl CVT EX-L with about 35k miles from Carvana recently. I had it shipped down to San Antonio, TX where it will be its new home for the next 5 years, minimum. Pristine exterior and interior, drives great just needs new brake rotors and pads (pads show a little wear, but rotors are warped). However, car has spent its entire life in Michigan, and a local mechanic just informed me of severe, widespread rust in the undercarriage (refer to pictures).
Carvana never disclosed the undercarriage rust. My wife and I love the car, but is this amount of rust a deal-breaker? Should we be finding a way to get rid of it, or is it something manageable? I'm a layperson when it comes to car maintenance/mechanics and, as a southerner myself, I can understand freaking out about seeing a lot of rust under there. But, I really want to know what mechanics from the Salt Belt think, since I imagine y'all see rusty undercarriages all the time. I'm still within Carvana's 100-day limited warranty.
Is this car worth holding onto..?

1990 Mustang driver-side rear drum brake issue Working on the rear drums on my 1990 Mustang 5.0 and I’m stuck on the driver side. The primary shoe, left side in the photo, keeps getting pulled upward. I can push it back down where it looks like it should sit, but as soon as I let go, the spring pulls it right back up.
I installed the springs the same way they were before I took it apart, so I’m not sure what I’m missing.
Anybody see anything obvious that’s installed wrong or know what would cause the shoe to keep riding up..?

Overfilled oil, should I try to drain or siphon? 2020 Mitsubishi eclipse cross if it matters. Didn't realize how little the dipstick measured and went overboard. Do I need to drain or siphon or can I just leave it as is until I get around to change the oil..?

Got my car back from the shop and noticed this. WWYD?
I've been a customer of this shop for a while and spent a couple grand in work total. Am I crazy to complain or ask them to pay for it to be cleaned...?

How do I remove the air conditioner pulley of a KIA Rondo 2011 v6 2.7L So my pulley broke is half, after removing the bolt the first half came off but now the half is still there. I couldn't find any snap ring. The worst part is that there isn't much room for anything. I've considered using a small crowbar and gently pry it but of course I'm open for any other advice (my pulley extractor is too big and won't fit in such a small space)
