We are a motorcycle club that rides out of the San Fernando valley but claim no territory. We respect all dominate and established MC's and the motorcycle world's way of life. We live by the code of Respect given, Respect earned and so we always approach the MC world with a smile and a handshake. We do operate as a traditional non territorial club. How much does it cost to join? There is no cost
involved in “joining” the DOMINIONS, however our members agree to pay monthly dues and agree to pay the cost of the patch if they chose to become a patched member. Qwhat does your back patch represent? Our back patch or “Colors” represents our group. Most of the images on our patch have more than one meaning…as a prospective member gets closer to becoming a full member, all those meaning will be explained but we will provide a brief discretion on this Site. We are DOMINIONS (formally known as LOS SANCHOS)…Our Rocker represents our name and our identity. It is a three color rocker that used red white and blue…those colors were chosen to represent our love for God and country. If we break our colors down further, they stand for the following: we chose the white lettering of the name DOMINIONS to represent the purity of Gods Dominion and the purity of his love and power…we use white to symbolize the Holy Spirit. The Red outline symbolized the Blood of Christ and how the purity of his Dominions is protected by the blood of Christ. The Red Crosses within the letter “O” represent the sacrifice of our savior and the Dominion that was given to us to keep the faith alive after his cruisafixtion. The crosses are red because that is where the blood of Christ saved us all. Its outlined in white because this was a pure and true sacrifice of the body but the Holy spirit survived when the flesh did not. The blue background symbolized the water in which we are all baptized through Christ. The entire rocker is outlines in while again to symbolize that our mission and our faith is pure because of faith and the Holy spirit. This symbolizes our commitment to our faith. Our center patch represents our story and our commitment to each other. The patch has two “reaper figures” and this is representative of the two brothers who founded our group. The “Flying Reaper” represents both death and protection. We are the second chance riders…we have all been close to death so our reaper represents that death is always looming but we also know we are here until a higher power calls us. We believe that he isn’t just hovering over us…The Reaper has our back. The man wearing the vest symbolizes the second reaper (the reaper holding the women) and the flying reaper is representative of every other brother who wears the patch. The flying reaper represents how every other member is always watching out for his brother. The moon represents the many nights we spend together on the roads we travel. The road at the center of the patch is symbolic of the road and the path that all our members travel together. Thnis is also reflective of our love for the road and living on two wheels. Our unmarked grave is tribute and a sign of respect to all the fallen brothers who haven’t gotten that second chance and to anyone we have lost along the way. This is also a sign of respect for all the fallen bikers even of we never met them. The Tombstone with “Soulz of the past” symbolizes our start in this club life. WE are the Soulz of the past (a nod to the first club patched into) It took one year to set the foundation to our club and so 7-2011 is our inception and 7.2012 is our establishment dates. Although thats actually not the start of the club but the day we first put the patches on. The chains that the reaper holds are the chains of brotherhood held together by our common bond, the chain that binds us through death. Our sign with the saying FEDELIS AD MORTEM is our slogan. It means “Faithful unto Death” which is how we view our life and our commitment to one another… as a friend, as a club and as a family. And finally the couple in an embrace of love is our commitment to our family…even through death and after death we are loyal and committed to those we love. There is much more to our patch and every color and image has a meaning but that is something we would be happy to discuss in person. Do I have to wear a back patch? If you are voted in as a FULL PATCHED member of DOMINIONS, then you are expected to wear your Colors/Patches to all group events. We are a small group of brothers and sisters…so once you become part of the family…you should be proud to “Fly Your Colors.”
Only full members have the right to wear our back patch. Because we are a CLUB, our patches are still “earned”. By earning your patch, the club makes a commitment to you, The member, and the member commits to the club. Our patch symbolizes our commitment to one another and our goal of becoming a family. An “earned patch” is given to individuals who show their loyalty, dedication and respect to our club/family. If you only show up to 1 event every once in a while…we may not be the right group for you. What is the money collected used for? Dues collected from our members help pay for our club expenses and events. The club will receive a monthly report on funds and expenses at the club meeting. All use of club funds/moneys will be voted on by members. Activities such as overnight trips, yearly events, supplies and emergencies will be funded by the club if the members agree and vote to use the funds in such a way. All money collected by the club is to be used for the club! Further details available in our Club Bylaws. Records of finances are available to patched members upon request. How Long Does it take to become a member? We do not have a set amount of time. We are a family group of riders and as such we want to be sure that you fit in with us and that we are a good fit for you. The amount of time is dependent on the commitment of the prospective member. This could be a very quick process or a lengthy process depending on how active you are. We all have to get to know each other…The first step is to let us know you want to become a member; we will then find a current member to sponsor you. The Sponsoring Member will take you under their “wing” and tell you about our rules and the codes of conduct. You sponsor is also responsible for filling in all the blanks for you. When you and the Sponsoring Member are ready to take the next step, the entire club will vote on your membership into the DOMINIONS. If the majority of the club votes you in then you become a Patched Member! We often have events that take place off of the motorcycles and our members bring their children and other family members and friends too. If your child is old enough to ride with you on your bike then they are also welcome to come along on group rides. We wouldn't be much of a “family” if we excluded our family from your events! Are you a support group or do you have affiliations with any other MC or Riding Clubs? The DOMINIONS are an independent club free of any formal association to any other clubs. We are not a support club to any other club but we do respect the linage of this world and so respect all established MC's. We do maintain a positive and productive friendship/relationship with other clubs in the area and we respect ALL MC’s and RC’s but we chose to remain independent. None of our members are members of any other clubs or riding groups. We are a non territorial group of riders. We respect all other Riding Clubs and Motorcycle Clubs but we are completely neutral on any MC politics.
