Even though it seems like the Primary election is over, we still have candidates for our state that are in a run-off. And the position of Secretary of State is an important position.
I’m honored to speak about my friend Bryan Norris. As a fellow combat veteran and Christian, Bryan and I share many of the same values that guide our lives: duty, faith, and service to others. I’ve watched him face difficult situations with steady courage and calm judgment. His commitment to the people he serves is evident in everything he does.
Bryan’s military service taught him the importance of accountability and teamwork. He brings that same disciplined approach to every project he takes on. Listening carefully, gathering facts, and following through until the job is done. He’s the kind of person who holds himself and others to high standards, not out of pride, but because he believes in doing what’s right.
As a friend, Bryan is dependable and compassionate. He makes time for family, supports fellow veterans, and actively participates in our faith community. When tough choices come up, he turns to his principles and humble prayer for guidance. Those qualities: integrity, humility, and resilience are what I admire most about him.
We live in times when institutions and systems can seem distant or unresponsive. Knowing Bryan, I’m encouraged by his insistence on clarity and responsibility in how things are run. He’s not afraid to ask hard questions or to stand up for the people he cares about, even when it’s difficult.
I’m proud to call Bryan a friend. His character, service, and faith have shaped the person he is today, and I believe those qualities will continue to serve his community well.
