Shawna Rogers for Lonoke County Clerk From Chief Deputy to County Clerk: Experience and accountability you can count on!

If anyone still has one of my signs in their yard, please send me your address so I can collect it. And if you’d rather just toss it, that’s totally fine too—hallelujah, I won’t need them again! 🙌🏻😁

I want to congratulate Joanie Howell on winning the position of Lonoke County Clerk. I truly wish her the best

While this wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, I can honestly say I’m at peace. I trust that God’s plans are always greater than our own, and I know He has something bigger, better, and brighter ahead for me.

This journey also brought so many unexpected blessings. I’ve had the opportunity to meet incredible people along the way, build new friendships, and strengthen relationships that I will cherish for years to come. The connections made during this season are something I will always be grateful for.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who prayed, voted, encouraged, and supported me throughout this journey. Your kindness and belief in me meant more than I can put into words.

To my family — thank you for the long hours, the hard work, the countless conversations, the tears, and the prayers. You stood by me through it all. I will never be able to fully express how much your love and support mean to me.

We will begin picking up signs this week. If you have one in your yard, please let me know and we’ll make sure to stop by and get it.

Thank you again for walking this road with me. ❤️

Hey friends! I just wanted to let y’all know that if the sign in your yard is gone, I’m the one who took it. We needed a few more signs to place out at the Election Day sites, so I borrowed them. 😊

I also want to say thank you to each and every one of you for your prayers and support. It truly means so much to know that you’ve stood behind me during this journey. I’m beyond grateful for every text, call, sign, and word of encouragement. I couldn’t do this without you!

What a truly humbling experience it was to see so many members of our community come together in support of Bethlehem Church. For those who may not know, Bethlehem Church was 109 years old when it tragically burned down on January 5th of this year.

This afternoon, I had the opportunity to support that wonderful cause at a fish fry hosted by Concord Methodist Church and catered by King Kat. The outpouring of love and encouragement in that room was incredible. It was a beautiful reminder of what community really means — showing up for one another in times of need.

I’m sharing their GoFundMe link below in case you feel led to support them. Every prayer, share, and donation makes a difference.

Have you gotten out to make your voice heard and make a difference? I sure hope so! Every single vote matters — especially in small county races. If you haven’t voted yet, please make a plan to do so. Your voice truly matters.

“But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials…” — Exodus 18:21

Choosing strong, trustworthy leadership starts with showing up.

“I've still got joy in chaos
I've got peace that makes no sense
So I won't be going under
I'm not held by my own strength

'Cause I've built my life on Jesus
He's never let me down
He's faithful in every season
So why would He fail now?

He won't”

He will not fail!! No matter what happens, win or lose, my God will take care of me!

It’s not every day you get to vote for yourself for County Clerk — or that your family gets to vote for their wife or mom! What a humbling and special experience this has been for all of us.

If you haven’t voted yet, I encourage you to make a plan to do so. Local elections truly matter more than most people realize — they directly impact our schools, roads, services, and the way our county operates every single day.

Even if you don’t vote for me, please go vote. Your voice matters, and your participation makes our community stronger. 🗳️

This issue has come up several times this past week, so I wanted to make a post with a little more information and the options you have.

In past elections, you could choose which party ballot you wanted to vote on, no matter how you were registered. This year is a little different. The Republican Party of Arkansas has decided to hold a partially closed primary.

What does that mean? If you’re currently registered as a Democrat, you’ll need to change your party affiliation to Republican or to Optional (non-partisan) in order to vote on the Republican ballot.

Also important to know:
If you choose a non-partisan ballot, you will receive judicial races ONLY on your ballot.
If you choose a Republican or Democratic ballot, you will receive the judicial races plus any other races that apply to your ballot style.

If you have questions about your registration status, feel free to reach out — we’re always happy to help. You can also check your voter registration status anytime on Arkansas VoterView.

We’ve had a few late evenings this week with early voting staying open until 6:00 p.m., but I truly love every minute of it. There is nothing more rewarding than serving our county and watching our community come out to use their voice through their vote. It’s an honor to be part of the process and to help ensure every voter is welcomed and supported.

So far, we’ve had a total of 2,785 early voters —

Tuesday: 789
Wednesday: 696
Thursday: 639
Friday: 661

Thank you to everyone who has already made their voice heard! If you haven’t had a chance to vote yet, there’s still time — we would love to see you come out and participate.

🗳 Polls are open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and all next week from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Your voice matters, and every vote counts.
