Long Beach Twp Officials are planning to turn this coastal wildlife pond into a parking lot and or dog park. They plan on filling in the pond with no regard to the wildlife that live, feed, mate, nest and rest here. They also want to have a dog beach that would conflict with not only nature but public recreation which includes swimming, windsurfing, seining, SUP, SUP yoga, kayaking and fishing just to name a few. On 1/5/18 this letter was sent to homeowners within 250' feet of the pond.
