I am the proud parent of a first-grader in school in LBUSD, an educator with over 20 years of experience at Long Beach State, and a product of public education from kindergarten through my doctoral degree at UCLA. I understand - first-hand - the tremendous impact that a high-quality, public education has on families and communities.
