Please join us in wishing Gail a very happy retirement!

After 23 years of dedicated service, Gail, our Assistant to the Chief, is retiring. For over two decades, Gail has been an integral part of the University Police Department where she has supported five chiefs and served as a constant source of support for our entire department.

Beyond her impact within our department, Gail has consistently given back to the community through her involvement in the Staff Council Toy Drive each holiday season and her willingness to lend a helping hand at campus events throughout the years.

While her dedication, positive attitude, and countless contributions will truly be missed, we wish Gail all the best as she begins this well-earned retirement!

Commencement week starts on Sunday and we can’t wait to celebrate the class of 2026 as they walk across the stage and their cap and gowns! 🎓

You can always spot our CSOs in signature their signature blue uniform shirts, so it was only fitting that they added a touch of blue with their graduation sashes to signify their time in the CSO program.

Car theft is more common than you may realize, and while these tips may seem basic, they make a big difference! It is particularly important to remember these habits when we are distracted, busy, or get so comfortable in our routine that we let our guard down. Always lock your doors. Never leave valuables in sight. Stay aware. Simple habits can make a big difference in reducing your risk.
